We came to Carter’s Tattoo from Tennessee for our 17 year old son’s tattoo. When I first was referred to this shop I emailed with my questions regarding the minor and the staff promptly replied to me with questions answered and the necessary paperwork. Once we decided to schedule an appointment , our artist, DoughBoy reached out. We were able to discuss design ideas and share pictures for inspiration. When it came to appointment day, DoughBoy and all staff were so kind during check in. My son was so excited and a bit nervous, but he was in great hands. Doughboy was so professional and the business was so clean. This mom felt very comfortable letting my baby get his first tattoo there and I’m sure he will be back. Heck- I will probably go get one from him too! I highly recommend Carter’s Tattoo.

We had such a wonderful experience with Justus. I reached out to him about doing my daughter’s first tattoo, which was in memory of her beloved horse, and he was incredible from start to finish. We drove from Tennessee, and it was absolutely worth it. He was patient, kind, and made her feel completely comfortable. The tattoo is beautiful and so meaningful to her. I can’t thank him enough for creating something she’ll cherish forever. Highly recommend! We will be back for more!

My wife has been to Carter's before, but I had not, until yesterday. My wife and I got matching tattoos, then we each got a separate piece. Jack did all 4, and I highly recommend him. He was professional, personable, made sure the work area was cleaned between each piece, and did quality work. When its time for more, we'll return to Carter's.

I got my very first tattoo today! Justus was the tattoo artist and he was amazing! He produced exactly what I asked for and made sure everything was perfect beforehand. His line work is impressive and I'm very pleased with his work. 10/10 would recommend and even though I'm not local, I do plan on returning to get more work done.

I’ve started going to Carter’s around October of 2024 and I’ve decided I will never go to another tattoo shop again. I’ve had both Jamie and Doughboy tattoo me and I’m absolutely in love with every single tattoo. I also got my nipples pierced by Macie in June 2024 and she made me feel so comfortable and confident. The vibes of this shop are completely unmatchable, it’s such a fun and safe atmosphere. Not to mention it’s incredibly clean, I’ve never seen a speck of dust going there. Definitely the best shop in BG KY!!
